Coaching Lessons
The VTA coaching program runs for 44 lessons per year [36 after school and 8 holiday program lessons]. We have a range of coaching programs to suit players from the age of 4 years old +. Students are initially enrolled in a class suitable to their age and experience; they are then assessed by their coach and moved to a more appropriate class if necessary. Regular assessments are carried out throughout the term and kids are progressed when deemed ready by our qualified staff. Parents are encouraged to watch lessons, but not enter the court unless asked by the coach.

Policies
1) Payment Policy
The VTA’s flexible and family friendly payment scheme involves coaching fees being charged to your nominated credit card or bank account on the 1st of each month by direct debit. During the month of January, we have fantastic value for all our members which include 3 weeks of holiday programs, 1 session free per week for all members and after school lessons starting Tuesday 27th January 2015. If you are away for an extended period of time [6 weeks or more etc] you might prefer to “Opt Out” which means your membership can be suspended and restarted at your convenience without losing your place in the program (January only).
We have engaged EziDebit to process the credit card and bank account transactions on our behalf. The name EziDebit will appear on your bank or credit card statement. Further details can be found on the DDR Service Agreement. EziDebit charge transaction fees on each payment at a rate of 99c from a bank account or 2.2% if paying by Visa / Mastercard and 4.4% for American Express. No refunds can be given but credits can be arranged by mutual agreement.
You can cancel your enrolment and payment authority by providing 14 days written notice prior to the end of the month. Please email your instructions to accounts@victennisacademy.com.au

2) Re-enrolment Policy
All classes are carried across on a month to month basis and any desire to cease lessons needs to be done so by written consent as outlined above. Enrolments are automatically carried across from term to term throughout the year. School bookings are automatically carried across from Semester 1 to Semester 2 unless you request otherwise.
3) Wet Weather Policy
Our dedication to providing a duty of care to our clients means that sometimes we may have to cancel lessons. In the event of this we will always send an SMS ideally 30 minutes before lessons are due to begin. Flooded courts & extreme heat (37+ degrees) are examples of situations in which lessons may be cancelled.
You can call the officer prior to lessons on the day but if lessons are always on unless indicated otherwise by staff.
4) Make Up Lessons Policy
If you are going to miss a lesson it is essential you inform the office in advance either via phone call or e-mail. This will entitle you to a make up lesson.
i) Make up lessons can be used on an alternate day of the week
ii) Make up lessons can be used in the final week of term where a ‘make up week’ will be held
iii) Two missed lessons in the term can be transferred to a holiday program at the end of term via accounts@victennisacademy.com.au
If you have an extended illness, injury or holiday please talk to the office to discuss options.
Missed classes can only be used in different terms if agreed prior with management.
Refunds for missed classes are not given as you have secured your spot in the class for the duration of that payment.
Privacy Information
As a member of the Victorian Tennis Academy coaching program you also become part of the Tennis Australia Tennis Connect program as a Hot Shots or Cardio member. The great benefits of being part of Tennis Connect include:-

By joining the Victorian Tennis Academy Program you consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of my personal information in accordance with the tennis privacy statement and the tennis privacy policy, which contains information about how I may access and seek correction of my personal information, how I can complain about a breach of my privacy, and how the complaint will be dealt with.
Photography & Video Images
By registering with VTA you acknowledge that The Victorian Tennis Academy may film, use video analysis and photography during programs, lessons and events. You understand and agree that this usage, including for marketing & promotion purposes, is without compensation or notice to myself. Images may be used on our website, social media and other promotional material.
Pregnancy Participation
Please note, our Adult Coach Workout and Cardio tennis programs involve high intensity exercise, which is not advisable during pregnancy. Please contact our office to discuss alternative options such as private tuition. Beyond 20 weeks we will require a doctors certificate & a completed medical consent form for participation.
