We’re tucked away in a quiet, leafy part of Sydenham, south-east London, close to Crystal Palace, Penge, Forest Hill, Lewisham and Bromley. You can find us at:

Teaching Courses

Our Teaching programme is designed to take players from absolute beginners to being able to enjoy a game of tennis at their chosen level. This is done through a structured programme in a sociable environment.

One to one coaching is also available for the players who would prefer this. Please contact us for further information if this is of interest to you.

Our coaching system works best if a player is really keen to improve their game. Then all they need to do is let us know what level they are looking to get to or how many hours a week they want to train and we will be able to advise a suitable programme based on our years of experience.

If you are happy with your level then maybe one of our matchplay sessions would be best for you.

For players who would prefer it we run parent and child sessions. These are a great introduction to tennis through a mixture of exercises and fun games. It is also a fantastic way to spend some quality time with your child while learning a new skill.

Our sessions are based on skill level rather than age so you will typically find a mix of ages in each group but players all at a similar level of play. This helps them to be able to progress at their own pace.

A rough guide, if players are looking to be able to play recreationally then once a week and family matchplay will be fine. Looking to play at club level then we advise twice a week and family matchplay is included in the price. Looking to play at a higher level then please contact us and we will be happy to devise a programme for you.

Our new monthly payment system is based on coaching held over 39 weeks of the year and this is tied in to the academic year. We now give 4 weeks free coaching over the academic year when you sign up to pay monthly!

Diamond Reward Scheme

At DTA we value are members and believe that they need to be rewarded for their hard work. Members can earn Gold, Silver or Bronze rewards every session they attend. Rewards are given to those who attend, work hard, show improvement, etc. The scheme works on a point system, the player with the most points at the end of the membership year (March) will win prizes. The total points for the reward scheme years since 2012 can be found below. The results will be updated at the end of every month.
